Piper J-3C-65, PA-11 Clipped Wing Version Rear Lift Strut.
All struts are oiled and sealed. J-3C-65, PA-11 front and rear lift struts manufactured to revision levels and installed per AD-93-10-06 are an FAA approved alternate means of compliance and is considered terminating actions for repetitive inspection requirement of AD-99-01-05. For lift Struts, forks require a 500 hour inspection per A.D. 93-10-06. Original size 7/16" x 20 thread. Struts are made with 4130 Streamline tubing, not Mild Steel. FAA/PMA'd
