Lift Strut is oiled and sealed. J-3 front and rear lift struts manufactured to revision levels and installed per AD-93-10-06 are an FAA approved alternate means of compliance and is considered terminating actions for repetitive inspection requirement of AD-99-01-05. For lift struts, forks require a 500 hour inspection per A.D. 93-10-06. Original size 7/16" x 20 thread. Made with 4130N Streamline tubing, not Mild Steel. Dimensions 2.67" x 1.44" x .049.
